Apartments

Is smoking allowed in the rooms or in the hotel?

Smoking is allowed on the terrace and balconies but is not permitted in either buildings of the hotel.

Guest directory

You can find all information about our hotel and Gerlos - from excursion destinations and weekly programs to lifts, opening times, shops, restaurants, physicians, and much more - in our "Gastfreund" app. You will find the QR code in your apartment. 

Breakfast

We offer a breakfast roll delivery service, but you can also arrange to enjoy breakfast from the lavish buffet in Hotel Platzer. The cost is € 22/person, which can be paid directly on-site.

Where is dinner offered and at what times?

The opening times of the restaurant "Dahuam.202" are from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm. (Kitchen is open until 9:30 pm; subject to change). 

You can make a table reservation at https://www.dahuam202.at/en/ or by telephone: +43 5284 528311 (simply dial the number 20 on the phone in your apartment). For a VIP experience 😉 let us know the number of your apartment. You can find additional restaurant tips in our digital guest directory "Gastfreund".

Am I allowed to bring my dog?

  • Your 4-legged friend is welcome here! 
  • One of the countless dog trails is located right behind the hotel. 
  • Some of our apartments are ideally suited for a stay with your dog. Since we also have apartments in which dogs are not allowed, please let us know if you plan on bringing your dog when making your reservation. 
  • Cost per night € 15

Please make orders and changes no later than 4:00 pm via WhatsApp.

Restaurant

To reserve a table in our restaurant "Dahuam", dial the number 20 on the hotel phone or book via our homepage: www.dahuam.202.at. Please let us know that you are a hotel guest. You are also welcome to enjoy all dishes and drinks in your apartment as takeaway. You can place an order by telephone (dial the number 20 on the hotel phone or +43 5284 5283 11). Simply place your dishes outside the door of your apartment, and we will bring them back. 

Sauna

You can book your sauna appointment by signing up on the list at the reception desk. For same-day appointments, we ask that you also sigh up with WhatsApp: +43 664 20 239 20

Vacuum & garbage

You will find a vacuum cleaner in both buildings on the 1st floor. In the building in the back, the vacuum can be found in a box labelled "Staubsauger". 

Please separate your garbage: plastic, cardboard, glass, paper, cans, and food! You can find all containers for garbage separation in our garbage room on the back side of the front building where the restaurant "Dahuam" is located. Please simply place remaining garbage in the bag in the garbage room, and we will take care of this for you.  

Towels

... are changed for free: they are changed halfway through a stay of 4 to 7 days. There is no change of towels for a stay of less than 4 days – after all, we must be considerate of the environment 😊 We will be happy to change the towels more often. For this, we charge € 0.80 per towel.

Is there a cleaning service?

For a 2-week stay, we offer a "freshen-up" service for your apartment. Your apartment will be cleaned, and bed linens and towels will be changed. Of course, we will also be happy to change bed linens more often upon request (€ 10 per person).

Internet

WLAN: no password is necessary. Please accept the terms and conditions, and you can get started. 

When is the reception desk staffed?

Our reception desk is not continuously staffed. You can reach Tina by telephone or by WhatsApp at +43 664 20 239 20 or by e-mail at info@gerlosperle.at

Do I need to bring an umbrella?

We hope for you that the sun will always shine, but just in case ;-) you will of course find an umbrella in your apartment.

Check-in

When can I check in to my room? Is an early check-in possible?

Shortly before your arrival, we will send you an e-mail with a link to an online check-in. Please fill out the form so that we can prepare all the paperwork, and you can start your vacation fun even sooner. Let us know your planned arrival time! The apartment is available for check-in starting at 3:00 pm - if possible, we will be happy to offer you an earlier check-in. 

What if the apartment is not ready when I arrive ...

You are welcome to change clothes in our sauna, enjoy an active day, then check in to your apartment when you return. 

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Upon arrival, we need one valid credit card (Mastercard or Visa) per apartment. The costs for damages will be deducted from it. 

Check-out

When can I pay my bill?

We ask that you pay your bill on the day of your departure. 

How can I pay my bill?

Please transfer a deposit of 70% to the specified bank account within 7 days after accepting the offer. Your reservation will be confirmed and guaranteed after receiving the deposit. This will be credited to the full amount of the apartment bill. Within the EU and from EEA countries (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein), you can make SEPA transfers in Euros without additional fees. Please pay the remaining amount a day prior to departure or transfer the amount in advance. We accept payments by credit card (Maestro, Visa, MasterCard, V-Pay).

Is there a luggage storage room?

We will be happy to look after your luggage ;-)

Is a late check-out possible?

Based on availability, you can stay in your apartment longer. If this option is not available, we will make the sauna and towels available to you after your active day so that you can shower and get dressed for your journey home. 

What if I must depart early?

When paying your bill, we will discuss where you can deposit your key.

Is there an e-charging station?

You are welcome to charge your car at Hotel Platzer or Hotel Central (both across the way), where you can also pay the fee.  

Can I order gift certificates?

Simply send an e-mail to info@gerlosperle.at, and Tina will put together your customized gift certificate.  

Is there a bike changing station?

We have a charging cable for Bosch and specialized Levo. 

Are parking places available ?

Free parking is available right outside the hotel. 

How can I cancel my room reservation?

How do I get the Gerlosperle Bonus Card?

Is the lift ticket included in the price?

In summer, we bear the costs of your lift ticket. You can also use the Isskogel gondola in Gerlos and the Dorfbahn gondola in Königsleiten for free as often as you would like during your stay - even on your arrival and departure day. In winter, the ski pass is not included in the price, but it is available to purchase at the reception desk so that you don't have to wait in long lines at the lift ticket office.  

Is there a doctor nearby?

The nearest doctor's office is only 2 minutes away. 

Is there a pharmacy nearby?

A pharmacy is located only 500 m away. 

Are you in need of a doctor or rescue service?

Get in touch with us anytime by telephone, and we will gladly help you organize a doctor's appointment or rescue service. The emergency number is 144. 

Where can I purchase my ski pass?

You can conveniently purchase a SuperSkipass at the reception desk (pass for 2 or more days) and at each valley station.

How do I reach the Zillertal Arena ski area? Is there a ski bus?

The Zillertal Arena is only 2 minutes by car (1.3 km) from the Gerlosperle. The ski bus stops right at the Gerlosperle. You can find the current schedule in our digital guest directory "Gastfreund" or in the ski storage room. You can reach the Dorfbahn lift in a 5-minute walk. We recommend renting a locker here - it's easier without ski boots 😊.

Is there a ski storage room?

There is a ski storage room with heated ski boot dryer in both buildings. 

What can I do with my wet clothing with rainy weather?

We have a drying room in the hotel.

Where can I rent skis and ski boots?

As a guest at the Gerlosperle, you can take advantage of a 10% discount at Intersport Huber (Dorfbahn or Isskogel shop) and Sport Egger (right next door).

Can you ski back to the hotel?

The ski run, which is equipped with snow making machines, will bring you right back to the Gerlosperle... you only have to cross the road. 

Can you tobogganing in Gerlos?

Yes, the toboggan run can be reached by ski bus in the direction of the umbrella bar and is floodlit at night, in which case you can take a taxi. Austria's longest floodlit toboggan run is located in Hainzenberg only 15 minutes away by car. 

Can you go cross-country skiing in Gerlos?

Of course! There are 3 cross-country trails with a total length of 25 km. Snap on your cross-country skis right behind the Gerlosperle and get started! There are more trails on the Gerlosplatte heading towards Filzstein (10 minutes away by car).

Can I rent a bike on-site?

Yes, you can rent mountain bikes or e-bikes in Gerlos. You will receive a 10% discount at Sport Huber with the Gerlosperle BonusCard. We recommend you reserve your bike in advance!

Can I play golf? Is there a golf course nearby?

Yes, the 18-hole Zillertal golf course in Uderns is located only 22 km away.  

Is there a hiking program? Is there a weekly program?

Yes, here in Gerlos, our guests can enjoy a colorful array of activities with a weekly program and hiking program. You can find the current weekly program in our digital guest directory  "Gastfreund".
